Milad Aramnia
BIOGRAPHY
Milad Aramnia (b. 1982, Tehran, Iran) is a painter and visual artist based in Los Angeles. He holds a BFA in painting from Tehran Art University, a postgraduate degree in Digital Illustration in New Media from the New York FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology), and an MFA in Intensive Studio Painting from the New York Academy of Art. He uses various materials--from oil on canvas, acrylic and watercolor all the way to digital mediums and tools, such as Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and Artificial Intelligence--to help him create his visions into paintings.
Although oil and acrylic are his main material for painting, he is eager to learn and understand new tools and use them to his advantage as a painter. As a result, in 2019, he entered and won the world's first Virtual Reality Sculpting Championship first in New York City and then in Tokyo.
