A special event for all ages to mark the closing weekend of Ithell Colquhoun: Between Worlds

Across the weekend come to The Dream Room; a space to rest, write and dream. Join Lally MacBeth and Jen McDerra from The Hypatia Trust in creating a collective dream through words and pictures.

On Saturday visit The Hand of Ithell Room and be inspired by The Wad Morris group to make your own surrealist waver to join in their performance on Sunday. This session will be guided by film and music with Jude Munden, Penny MacBeth and the Hand of Ithell.

Sunday will feature performances by The Wad Morris group and acclaimed singer Daisy Rickman.

A painter, writer and occultist, British artist Ithell Colquhoun was one of the most innovative of her generation, fusing surrealist techniques with a deep interest in spirituality, sexuality, myth and magic. Ahead of the first major exhibition of Colquhoun’s work, curator Katy Norris introduces her visionary oeuvre, much of which is now housed in Tate’s archive
