Wines from the Tate Cellars Photography by Katie Wilson

Join us for a celebration of wine, food and music

The Australian Wine Festival with Matthew Jukes is back in 2025, following its great success last year. This exciting event will showcase over 50 of the highest-scoring wines from Matthew’s annual list of the best Australian wines. Attendees will have the opportunity to taste a wide variety of wines, from everyday value bottles to exceptional premium wines all while enjoying stunning panoramic views of The City and music by Bryony Dunn.

The festival is a “Walk Around” tasting, where you can meet wine importers and merchants, learn about the wines, and chat with Matthew Jukes himself.

The 17.00 tasting has an option to add on a three course dinner at the Restaurant. Diners can expect a thoughtfully crafted menu that highlights the best of British ingredients by our former St John chef, Chris Gillard. We will share a list of hand-picked gems, selected by Matthew, available to preorder for dinner, ahead of your visit.

Cheese and charcuterie boards will be available for non-diners.

Matthew Jukes, a renowned international wine writer, is celebrated for his exceptional knowledge of Australian wines. He is widely regarded as one of the most knowledgeable experts in the field. Each year, Jukes tastes over 4,000 Australian wines, curating his prestigious “100 Best Australian Wines Report” from this extensive selection. With over three decades of experience in the wine industry, he is known for his deep understanding of wine and his authoritative reports, which have earned him respect worldwide.

This is a rare opportunity to taste and learn about the best wines Australia has to offer with Matthew Jukes, the leading authority on Australian wine. Be sure to register early for this remarkable wine experience!
